Yesterday, I went to The Berkley Church for Dave & Charlotte‘s Wedding Photography Workshop. I had an amazing, fun, and educational day learning from Dave, Charlotte, and Johnny Tran from Calgary.
We spent the morning learning about the business of photography.  After lunch, we had the chance to learn from all 3 photographers as we walked around the venue with our 4 amazing models (3 brides and one groom). It was really great to see all of the photographers ‘in action’. We then had some alone time with each model/couple to create any kind of images we wanted with everything we had just learned.
I uploaded some of my shots to Flickr. I had a really hard time narrowing down my favourites, so I might add more later.

And here are my current favourites from my one-on-one time with the models! I say “current favourites” because I’ve changed my mind approximately 5 times already today.
Looking through my pictures, I can already think of a million new ideas, and a million things I would have done differently with poses, lighting, composition, everything. Overall, it was a really amazing experience and I will definitely be checking out their next workshop in May!
